Ghost of the past
Here's the perfect example. I believe this was 2012. Granted I've lost 41 lbs since this post but I can never push myself past this point to get down to the 220 range that I want. The closest I've come is working Target and coming to 240. Then, back to the sedentary job now. The bodybugg was a great gadget for its time, but 9 years later, things like Fitbit Smartwatches all do the same thing on your wrist. I still love Jillian Michaels for her advice and I need to get past my head to move forward with it.

The title of this blog says it all. I'm going to try the P90X program after being inspired by someone who went through the transformation. I should say "partially" because I just barely saw that he takes a crapload of supplements. Sorry, but if you need supplements and dietary aids to "flush you out"...It's not going to last. So, my next thoughts are well.....time to see what this program can do combined with a diet, less if no soda and more exercise in general. Thankfully I have the bodybugg SP which makes it at least a little more fun/interesting. I have a huge problem with motivation. For some reason it just isn't there, and I am pretty sure I know the reasons, the problems I have with fear of failure of future endeavors. This is my excuse to not go back to being in Emergency Medicine in fear of failing again. I had the fortunate luck of speaking with #Jillian Michaels on one of her podcasts and she helped put things into perspective. The book she sent me, #unlimited has helped a bit as well. Well, here's to hoping I don't keep coming up with excuses. I'll repost on day one of my actual start, and post my "after" pics 90 days in.
